How to choose the right ice bath tub
Many tubs look similar at first glance, but differences in materials, insulation, size and maintenance affect both the experience and the long-term cost.
Choose size based on how you will actually use the tub
If you mainly want a quick morning dip, a compact model is often enough. If you are tall, want a more relaxed position or plan to share the tub, you need more internal volume and better stability.
Pay close attention to insulation and the cover
A cheaper tub can become expensive to run if it loses cold quickly. Good insulation and a properly sealed cover make a big difference if you want to keep temperatures low between sessions.
Think through cleaning before you buy
Consider how easy the tub is to drain, clean and connect to a filter or chiller. A model that is easy to keep fresh gets used more often and requires less work over time.
